Sometimes I feel like Edgar Allen Poe would love to know just how many gothy teenagers lust after him more than a hundred years after he died. Anyways, film is taking a stab (unintentional pun) at his works but instead of a direct or loosely adapted take on one of his stories they are doing the “killer inspired by works of fiction angle”.

My initial reaction was somewhat mixed. It looks decent and James McTeigue is directing who handled V for Vendetta but there is something about it that makes me kinda underwhelmed. What are your thoughts? Are you guys excited for this one?
