What once was a story about not accepting a life you don’t deserve, becomes a tale of making the best with what you have. Dead Air continues its journey through the Ti West X trilogy with 2022’s Pearl!
The year is 1918 and a young Pearl is longingly waiting the return of her husband from the war while enduring a brutal pandemic that has left her father unable to care for himself. She lives on her parents far helping to care for him under the watchful eye of her stern mother.
meanwhile she has stars in her eyes and sneaks off to watch films in town while daydreaming about becoming a star and escaping her life.
But there is a darkness brewing in her. a fantasy life in more ways than one as she desperately tries to appear like everyone else. Unfortunately for everyone around her the strain and isolation of her life will make something in her snap. a new monster is born!
