Dead Air 265 – The Lost Boys: Real Tears, Fake Noodles

Welcome to Santa Carla, California. Beautiful sunny beaches, a thriving boardwalk, and one slippery sax man. There’s only one problem; it’s lousy with Vampires. On episode 265 of Dead Air we discuss the 1987 classic, The Lost Boys. Brothers Sam and Michael head to sunny California to start over with their recently divorced mother. Before long Michael finds himself tangled up with a beautiful girl named Star and a wild gang who seem eager to make him one of them. He’ll never grow old and he’ll never die… provided he turns into a vampire. Sam enlists the help of the Frog brothers, two comic store clerks and erstwhile vampire hunters in a quest to save his brother. All they need do is destroy the head vampire, whoever that might be.

About the author

The Dead Air Podcast was originally supposed to be a small five minute section within a larger show that was to be hosted by our mutual friend and former Rue Morgue Radio host/ producer; Tomb Dragomir. After I made the pilot, I realized that a segment where I talked by myself, sucked. I contacted Lydia and we started to make small segments for Tomb’s show. After about a year of waiting for a very busy Tomb we decided to take matters in to our own hands and launch Dead Air as its own show. Each week we sit down and discuss a horror movie that is either requested by you guys or from our own personal collections.
