Spike is a cool motorbike teen with a dorky cousin named Hoax. One day after losing a game of cards Spike is given the chance to call 976 Evil, to see what his daily horoscope tells him. following the advice it gives he pays off his gambling debt. This all seems like a strange coincidence.
Hoax, himself uses the same number and begins to enact revenge based on the advice it gives, delving into the satanic magics to grant him powers beyond imagination.
Meanwhile a reporter for a religious magazine named Marty is hot on their trail trying to uncover the truth behind 976-Evil and its mysterious owner, Mark Dark.
