Don’t look now but the chairlift has ceased for the foreseeable future. Nothing to do but put on your headphone and listen to the 145th episode of Dead Air! Oh, and do mind the wolves nipping at your toes. You wouldn’t want to end up a frozen dinner!

Today we talk about the 2010 film: Frozen! Three friends are having the time of their lives on a weekend ski trip, when one last late night trip down the hill turns horribly wrong. The chairlift is at a dead stop. They’re the last ones on the hill and the resort employees have gone home, not to be back until the following weekend.

Temperatures drop dramatically as a violent storm sets in and our three friends have a horrible decision to make. Freeze, climb, or jump. What’s worst is they’ve attracted the attention of a pack of hungry wolves. Can they survive a week or will they succumb to the elements? How desperate can three people become when death is the only certainty?

The Dead Air Podcast was originally supposed to be a small five minute section within a larger show that was to be hosted by our mutual friend and former Rue Morgue Radio host/ producer; Tomb Dragomir. After I made the pilot, I realized that a segment where I talked by myself, sucked. I contacted Lydia and we started to make small segments for Tomb’s show. After about a year of waiting for a very busy Tomb we decided to take matters in to our own hands and launch Dead Air as its own show. Each week we sit down and discuss a horror movie that is either requested by you guys or from our own personal collections.
