Pray for day! Episode 122 of Dead Air brings you the obscure 1981 film; Hell Night.

Marti is a young woman with with a knack for fixing cars and a desire to join her colleges fraternity. Only one catch. In order to become an official member of the illustrious Alpha Sigma Rho, she along with a small group of pledges must spend the night in the nearby abandoned Garth Manor.

Legend has it this horrible house of homicide with a dark past hasn’t been used for years. In truth, the members of Alpha Sigma Rho have it wired for sound to try and scare their pledges in honour of good ol’ fashioned freshmen hazing! But the deeper truth is this house is not as abandoned as they would hope. The remaining Garth family members are alive and unwell! Which spells trouble for our pledges and their would be pranksters!

The Dead Air Podcast was originally supposed to be a small five minute section within a larger show that was to be hosted by our mutual friend and former Rue Morgue Radio host/ producer; Tomb Dragomir. After I made the pilot, I realized that a segment where I talked by myself, sucked. I contacted Lydia and we started to make small segments for Tomb’s show. After about a year of waiting for a very busy Tomb we decided to take matters in to our own hands and launch Dead Air as its own show. Each week we sit down and discuss a horror movie that is either requested by you guys or from our own personal collections.
