For episode 177 of the show we discuss the 1979 cult classic, Tourist Trap!

Molly and her friends run in to a small bit of bizarre car trouble and end up at The Hidden Oasis. A run down little swimmin’ hole with a wax museum attraction. The owner is a lonely old man named Slausen. Well not totally alone. He does have his brother Davey with him.

As Molly’s friends tread near an old house on the property they start to disappear. Can she and her friends escape before they become part of the attraction themselves?!

A podcast unmolested by time. Today we continue our Stephen Kingapalooza with the 1979 TV movie, Salem’s Lot!

Ben Mears is a successful writer that has returned to his hometown of Salem’s Lot after many years. All to write about a supposedly evil Marsten house that has loomed large in the town since as long as anyone can remember.

This house has recently become home to a Vampire named Barlow that unleashes his hunger and plague of vampirism throughout the town. As citizens are slowly turned it’s up to Ben and a few survivors to take out Barlow and flee the town. Unless they want to end up one of the many ghouls that now inhabit, Salem’s Lot.

We’re smack dab in the middle of Stephen Kingapalooza! This time we talk about the 1985 Werewolf adaptation, Silver Bullet!

Marty and his Sister Jane, live fairly typical lives in Tarker’s Mills, Maine but, in the the summer of 76, strange and gruesome murders start occurring.
Over time the bodies start to increase and a scared and outraged town go on a manhunt. However, all signs point to the impossible, a werewolf.

Marty is the only one who’s seen it gets the help of his sister and Uncle Red. They have precious little time before the next full moon and everyone in town is suspect. Can they discover who is changing to a murderous wolf at night before it strikes again? Or will the town tear itself apart with suspicion and fear before the wolf has a chance to.
