Episode 206 see’s us discuss one of the most influential Korean horror films ever made and one we’ve been threatening to do for years, 1998’s; Whispering Corridors.

In an all girls school in South Korea an old teacher is brutally strangled and hung outside on the grounds for all to see. This starts a chilling tail of lies, murder and mystery with one thing for certain. The dead do not rest and will have their revenge for the sins of the brutal teachers who work here. The buried and tragic past will come back to haunt anyone who would disrupt these whispering corridors.

Dead Air Ep 205 – The Howling

Somewhere on the internet. In this human jungle…it begins! Episode 205 of DEAD AIR! This time we discuss the 1981 werewolf classic; The Howling! Karen is an investigative journalist with a unique opportunity to corner infamous serial killer Eddie Quist! The encounter traumatizes her so much that she and her husband escape the an island community where everyone seems to be there for mental health reasons. Soon it becomes clear that Eddie is far more than human and has ties to this “colony.” What’s worst is Karen’s husband seems to run astray with the resident nymphomaniac, Marsha. Her support system crumbles around her and when she realized nobody on this island is what they seem, it just might be too late to escape!

Dead Air Ep 204: Dog Soldiers.

It’s the Dog Days of Summer and there is no better film to celebrate than Dog Soldiers!

Private Cooper is a military man on a special training exercise with his troop lead by his grizzled Sergeant Wells. As the night grows dark and the moon is full they encounter a ferocious group of creatures that start shredding them limb from limb! A bit of luck and a lot of desperation lead them to meet up with a local Zoologist that brings them to an old farmhouse buried deep in the woods for them to make a stand. Bullets are only good for keeping this pack of werewolves at bay, they’ll need their wits to form a real plan or end up on the menu. But after a time with ammo as low as their dwindling numbers, it becomes clear that them being in this place at this time is no accident.

Madison is a young woman who’s domestic bliss is nothing short of a nightmare. One night her abusive partner pushes her hard against the wall, cracking her head. Then hours later her husband is found brutally murdered by a shadowy intruder. A short time later Madison is having vivid visions of murders of people she’s never seen before but these visions are not just in her head. They’re real! She is somehow connected to a deranged and brutal killer who is taking out Doctors who worked on a mysterious project back in 1993. What unravels is a buckwild, genre-bending, horror-action extravaganza!
This episode really proves we have a lot of Jam left on our podcast doughnut!
